What lang-lang is

lang-lang teaches the script and early vocabulary of several Indian languages through flash cards and practice sheets. It is a learning aid. It does not certify anything, and it is not a substitute for a teacher.

The state of the language packs

Every language pack currently available is in beta. The content is generated from a documented syllabus and passes our automated checks, but it has not yet been signed off by a fluent speaker. Expect occasional errors, and please tell us when you find one. We do not describe any pack as verified until a fluent speaker has read it.

Using it

You may use lang-lang for your own learning and your family’s, and print the practice sheets for that purpose. Please do not redistribute the content or resell it.

Paying

Paid plans are not open yet; nothing in the app can be bought today. When they open, paid access is ₹599 a year or ₹1,499 once — see Pricing. Prices are in Indian rupees and include any applicable taxes. Both are single payments — neither renews automatically, so there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. We may change prices for new purchases; a price you have already paid does not change for what it covered.

Refunds are 7 days, no questions — in full here.

Your progress

Progress is stored on the device you learn on. Syncing between devices is not available today and is planned for January 2027. If you clear your browser’s storage, the progress on that device is gone and we cannot restore it, because it was never sent to us.

Availability

The app works offline once it has loaded. We do not promise it will be reachable at all times, and we may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you paid for and cannot offer a reasonable equivalent, contact us and we will sort out a refund.

Liability

We provide lang-lang as it is. We are responsible for giving you what you paid for and for putting it right when we do not; we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from the use of a language-learning app.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the app after that means the new terms apply.
